I have one too. This is two great animators/artists looking at techniques they used to use. Art did the original backgrounds for Yogi Bear.

hangover
hey all - think i mayve posted a drunk blog last night? argh! sorry! had gone to the pub, come back ...er...rather worse for wear and checked email (as you do, obviously)...what i wanted to say, though - was if you get chance, check out the animation 'the tale of how' by the blackheart gang- its amazing!!

love this work....are we still determined to get in people of interest to us? or maybe we could see if possible to visit some illustrators at their studios? or maybe we should join the AOI and rock along to their chats??

What do we bung on here then?
Hello,
Well it might be good to just bung on any pictures you've done if you want to, or post up events we might all be interested in. It could be just a good place for us all to communicate on. I'll add the tutors as contributors as well so they can post stuff too.
I'll kick things off with a a few things I've found on the internet that might be of interest:
astleybakerdavies - Pepper Pig and the like
froghatstudios - Beautiful concept art and brain behind the film "Monster House"
karmatoons drawing - A great site for learning to the basics of animation and basic drawing
pictoplasma.com - the website of the book of character illustrations
drooker.com - interesting illustrator, does lots of magazine work (New Scientist for example)
sparth - Artist from the games world, he just posts up concept art here.
And a picture to get us going:
